While working on this movie,
I came up with an idea of an ice crystal field floating in space that the ship would enter. I layed out story art
of crystals colliding and breaking apart in shards, presenting a dangerous, almost impossible place for the spaceship
to navigate through. In addition to designing the cyrstals themselves, I storyboarded a variety of sequences of what could
happen. The director pitched this to the producer, and months later I found out that my sequence had become
the grand action finale of the movie. Below are a sampling of images that I gave to the director.
